I enjoy solving complex problems and creating order out of chaos. Given Google hardware's role as a critical conduit for our evolving AI technology, my team and I must constantly adapt, innovate, and influence both partners and consumers to adopt new solutions. While this can be challenging at times, I find it consistently exciting and rewarding.
A core challenge in my role is making impactful decisions amidst ambiguity or incomplete data. To navigate this, I ground myself in consumer insights, maintain a laser focus on business goals and desired outcomes, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders both inside and outside of my team and company.
My top two pieces of advice are:
1. Trust your intuition - common sense is often your most reliable commpass.
2. Build a diverse network of trusted advisors. Their unique viewpoints are invaluable for uncovering fresh ideas and overlooked considerations.
One of my proudest professional moments involved guiding a team member through a significant performance turnaround. It was incredibly rewarding to reignite their motivation and witness their transformation from struggling to enthusiastically embracing new projects and opportunities. This experience resonated with me, reinforcing the power of belief and support - values I've personally benefited from throughout my own educational journey and career.
