As a Product Owner with experience at two tech unicorns and a leading e-commerce platform in Vietnam, I’ve contributed to digital transformation in fintech and e-commerce, focusing on e-wallets and cashless payments. My work empowers SMEs to adopt digital solutions by simplifying merchant onboarding, streamlining cash flow management, and enabling access to diverse payment methods. These efforts reduce operational friction, open growth opportunities, and help SMEs reach wider markets. I’m driven by a mission to ensure no business is left behind in Vietnam’s digital shift, creating products that enable financial inclusion and support long-term economic resilience in an increasingly connected world.
Spend time understanding your users at the ground level. Don’t build from assumptions, build from empathy. The most impactful products aren’t just innovative, they’re intuitive, inclusive, and solve real pain points.
What motivates me is the desire to make digital transformation more inclusive and meaningful, especially for small and medium-sized businesses in Vietnam. Too often, SMEs are left behind due to complex systems, lack of access, or limited resources. I’ve seen firsthand how digital tools like e-wallets, seamless onboarding, and better cash flow management can change the trajectory of a business.
Through my work, I aim to solve the gap between advanced technology and real-world accessibility. My goal is to build products that are not only scalable, but also empower local businesses to grow, compete, and thrive in the digital economy.
My work has helped bridge the gap between technology and everyday business operations for thousands of SMEs across Vietnam. By simplifying onboarding flows, digitizing business management tools, and promoting cashless payment adoption, we’ve enabled merchants, many of whom had no prior digital presence, to participate in the digital economy confidently.
One of our initiatives reduced merchant registration time by over 80%, resulting in a significant increase in monthly onboarded SMEs. In loyalty-based campaigns, engagement rates among newly onboarded merchants improved by up to 40%. These efforts have not only driven business growth but also contributed to Vietnam’s national goal of a cashless society and digital inclusion for all business sizes.
One major challenge I’ve faced was designing digital solutions for SME merchants with vastly different levels of tech literacy. Many were hesitant to adopt e-wallets or digital tools due to fear of complexity or change. To overcome this, I collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to simplify product flows, provide localized support content, and build human-centered onboarding journeys that felt approachable and trustworthy.
