DeepSurg is an advanced AI-driven platform designed to enhance surgical procedures through real-time data analysis and intelligent assistance. By integrating machine learning and computer vision, DeepSurg provides surgeons with precise guidance, supports intraoperative decision-making, and reduces risks. It leverages deep learning models trained on extensive surgical data to recognize anatomical structures, detect critical events, and optimize workflow efficiency. The platform aims to improve surgical outcomes, minimize errors, and enable personalized surgery—especially in complex or minimally invasive procedures—transforming operative care through cutting-edge neurocomputing and AI technologies at the forefront of healthcare innovation.
My interest in AI applications for healthcare began during my time at RMIT, where I contributed to developing a blood transfusion system designed to deliver blood more quickly in critical situations. This experience sparked a deeper passion for combining technology with sustainability and social impact to save lives. Joining DeepSurg as one of the founding AI engineers aligned perfectly with these goals. I am focused on bridging DeepSurg’s global initiatives with Vietnam’s AI research community while fostering sustainable AI development within the company to reduce human error in surgery and improve patient outcomes. Our technology has attracted strong interest from numerous doctors and hospital partners eager to leverage AI for safer surgical procedures. Currently, DeepSurg is collaborating with over 40 university labs and hospitals, primarily in Israel and Europe, with plans to expand into Vietnam. This growing network reflects the tangible trust and impact our AI system is creating in clinical environments.
