EMPACTS is a youth-led social organization that empowers young people in Vietnam to launch purpose-driven ventures aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We support early-stage youth founders by providing three core resources: practical knowledge through curated workshops and mentorship, meaningful connections via a strong peer and expert network, and access to seed funding opportunities. By nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets and equipping youth with essential tools, EMPACTS aims to build a generation of changemakers.
Knowing that I’ve helped create a space where others can thrive is one of the most meaningful accomplishments of my life so far.
While studying at RMIT, I noticed many peers had a strong desire to start their own ventures but lacked the guidance, community, and resources to take the first step. I was in that same position—motivated but unsure how to begin. That gap inspired me to create a platform where aspiring young entrepreneurs could find the support I once needed: a like-minded community, practical resources, and opportunities to grow.
Beyond that, I’ve always been driven by the desire to create meaningful, lasting impact. EMPACTS is my way of enabling young people to turn ambition into action for a better future.
My proudest moment has been growing EMPACTS from an idea into a thriving community of 30 dedicated youth leaders across Vietnam. We’re not just a team—we’re a tight-knit, purpose-driven family. Seeing our members develop both personally and professionally, and hearing them say they’ve grown more through EMPACTS than anywhere else, has been deeply fulfilling.
My journey with EMPACTS is deeply rooted in my time at RMIT. Founding the RMIT Innovation & Entrepreneurship Club gave me hands-on experience in building and leading a mission-driven team. It also introduced me to a wide network of talented, ambitious individuals—many of whom later became key supporters and collaborators in EMPACTS. The RMIT ecosystem gave me both the confidence and the community to pursue this work, and it continues to open doors as I expand our impact nationwide.
