VAN•HOA Studio crafts innovative design solutions that enhance brand value and drive sustainable growth. The name VAN•HOA comes from Vietnamese, with tonal marks removed to create openness in meaning — much like how design constantly thrives on multiple perspectives. Through the lens of Collaborative Design, Systems Thinking, and Circular Design, VAN•HOA strives to create practical designs that offer sustainable solutions for businesses and communities.

Founding VAN•HOA Creative Ltd. was a calling—sparked by the belief that Vietnamese culture holds an irreplaceable depth of wisdom, identity, and beauty, yet is often overlooked in today’s fast-paced global economy. For us, design is not merely aesthetic; it’s a transformative tool that brings culture to life and addresses modern challenges with ancient insights. At VAN•HOA, we bridge the past and future—preserving cultural knowledge while reimagining it into sustainable, innovative solutions that serve contemporary needs.

We’ve collaborated with artisans, farmers, designers, and policymakers on impact-driven projects that empower communities and shift public perception. One of our proudest initiatives, “Bản@SƯNG,” brought traditional craft villages together with young creators to co-design market-ready products—reviving heritage while creating real livelihoods.

The journey hasn’t been easy. We’ve faced skepticism, budget constraints, and the challenge of making culture commercially viable. But the positive feedback and real-world outcomes have kept us grounded and growing. Through RMIT, I’ve connected with mentors and peers who challenge me to think bigger and act bolder.

Initiatives like the RMIT Alumni Green Business Showcase provided us with a platform to put the newly adopted circular design methodology into action. The RMIT network has opened doors to global collaboration, cross-disciplinary learning, and international opportunities. Now, we’re seeking to connect with a new generation of changemakers—those who see culture not as something to archive, but as a living force to activate and evolve.
