As a Sales Success Manager at a headhunting or recruitment company, my core responsibility is to drive client satisfaction, optimize the performance of the sales pipeline, and ensure the successful delivery of recruitment solutions. I act as the strategic link between the business development team/recruitment team and client fulfillment, working to improve sales conversions and long-term client value.

I was drawn to the tech recruitment industry because of its direct impact on people’s lives—connecting individuals with opportunities that align with their values, skills, and aspirations. As a Sales Success Manager, I saw a gap between business development efforts and candidate delivery, which often led to inconsistent client experiences. My goal is to bridge that gap—ensuring every client engagement leads to a successful outcome through a more seamless, efficient, and accountable process, especially from my previous experience at SEA Cloud & Datacenter Industry.

Since stepping into this role, I’ve introduced a structured feedback loop between sales and delivery teams, which improved client satisfaction scores by 25% over 12 months. I have a natural talent for lead generation and business development. My ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and communicate value clearly has made a strong impact on our sales efforts.

One of the biggest challenges was misalignment between sales promises and delivery realities—often caused by a lack of communication or unclear expectations. I tackled this by introducing regular cross-functional syncs and integrating a shared CRM system that improves visibility for all teams. The proudest moment of my work is connecting people with people. Through quick restructuring and more hands-on client engagement, we not only salvaged the relationship but grew it into one of our top three accounts. It was proof that strategic listening and fast adaptation can convert challenges into lasting partnerships. RMIT’s strong emphasis on practical learning and industry connection laid the foundation for my career.

Through alumni events and LinkedIn networking, I’ve connected with fellow RMIT graduates across HR, tech, and operations who have become clients, collaborators, and mentors. It’s a network that continues to offer both insight and opportunity, especially in navigating a rapidly evolving recruitment landscape.
