Society We Care - as the name of the Group with the goal and mission of enhancing the spirit of love of each individual not only for society but also for relatives, together giving spiritual and material values to bring positivity to society.
We’re not just giving. We’re growing a better, kinder world.
I have always felt sympathy for unfortunate situations in life since I was a child, but I did not have enough abilities to help anyone and I was also shy to join large charity organizations. My view on my extremely good living conditions right now is not to enjoy by myself but to hold the mission of supporting others and helping them have a better life. That mission led me to found Society We Care - a project built not on grand gestures, but on lasting impact.
It began simply, with a few close friends and a shared desire to help. We provided food for homeless people and children in need. Over time, we used social media to tell our story, share photos, and spread our message. Slowly, more students at RMIT began to notice. Some joined us directly and some are inspired by the idea, found their own ways to give back. And from that, a quiet but powerful network of kindness began to grow.
What I treasure most is how this project has connected people, students who had never spoken before now work together, share opportunities, and support each other in both charity and study. Every trip teaches us more about life, gratitude, and what it means to live with purpose. I believe compassion lives in all of us. But not everyone grows up in an environment that nurtures it.
Through Society We Care, I want to create a space that inspires people to care, to give, and to grow. Every member brings their own strength: the good cook prepares meals at shelters, the creative minds design our social media presence. Everyone gives what they can, and together, we can create something meaningful.
So far, we’ve organized 21 volunteer trips and raised over 400 million VND. Our long-term goal is education: building schools, teaching sex education in remote areas, giving knowledge that empowers people to help others in return. Because more than the money, it’s the ripple effect that matters. We’re not just giving. We’re growing a better, kinder world.
