The story of FPT Slovakia began in 2014, when it entered the Slovak IT market as the first Asian investor in the Eastern Slovakia region. This marked FPT as first M&A deal, through which it acquired RWE IT Slovakia, the IT branch of the RWE Group. Over the past decade, the company has become a key player not only in Slovakia but also across Europe, significantly contributing to the growth and strengthening of FPT's position as a global Vietnamese corporation. As the CEO of FPT Slovakia from the very beginning, I am proud to be part of this journey.
Under my leadership, the company has achieved significant business success in recent years. In 2024, total revenues exceeded EUR 26 million.
Our journey from humble beginnings to a prominent position in the European market is a story of growth and success, built on the hard work and talent of our employees. After the M&A, FPT Slovakia had 281 employees. Today, the company employs nearly 500 IT and software specialists across Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Under my leadership, the company has achieved significant business success in recent years.
In 2024, total revenues exceeded EUR 26 million. For the past ten years, FPT Slovakia has been providing IT services to clients in a variety of industries, including utilities, healthcare, multimedia, e-commerce, and major players in the energy and automotive sectors. We work with the latest technologies, which gives us a broad and diverse range of competencies.
The company is a leader in the implementation and maintenance of SAP solutions and delivers software design, development, and maintenance, as well as independent testing and quality assurance of IT services—especially within the energy sector. FPT Slovakia also delivers innovative solutions in e-mobility, smart home technology, and renewable energy.
The rapid pace of development in the IT world in recent years has been remarkable, and FPT Slovakia has kept up. The shift to cloud computing, the rise of artificial intelligence and automation, and the growing focus on cybersecurity and privacy have all contributed to our visible progress. Modern technologies such as AI, DevOps, and IoT have transformed how applications are developed and managed, while data science and big data have enabled deeper analysis and forecasting. Today, IT plays a crucial role in every aspect of business, enabling faster, more scalable, and more secure solutions.
The combination of Slovak precision and Vietnamese innovation creates a unique dynamic that propels the company forward. This diversity, together with FPT's core values of commitment and loyalty, fuels the innovation and quality we deliver to our customers.
From an unknown name in the early days, FPT Slovakia has become one of the top employers in the IT sector in Slovakia.
