1. Exclusive alumni benefits:

Some key benefits available to RMIT Alumni include: 

  • Access to campus services including RMIT library services and RMIT Active Hub on SGS campus (refer here for the membership guideline).  
  • Invitations to alumni-exclusive workshops and networking events 
  • Partner discounts and learning opportunities 
  • Features supporting alumni businesses and professional visibility

2. What is an Alumni Network Account:

Your Alumni Network Account is your official login as an RMIT Alumnus/Alumna. 

With this account, you can: 

  • Create your Alumni E-card (required for campus access) 
  • Update your professional profile (similar to LinkedIn) 
  • Connect with other alumni and alumni-owned businesses 
  • Access exclusive benefits and opportunities 
  • Receive news, events, and career updates from RMIT 

This is the first step before using any Alumni Network features. 

3. What is an Alumni E-card and why you need it?

The former physical alumni card is no longer valid for campus entry. 

Your Alumni E-card is your official digital membership, in the form of a QR code, used for:

  • Verification at security gates for campus access 
  • Library services 
  • Active Hub (Sport Halls)

You must have an active E-card before arriving on campus to avoid delays at the entrance. 

Why the E-card? 

  • Secure: Unique QR code and alumni photo 
  • Sustainable: No plastic card required 
  • Hygienic: Fully contactless check-in 
  • Fast: Create your E-card online in a few simple steps. For any errors, submit this FAST TRACK FORM and allow 2–3 working days for support. 

4. How to create an E-card?

Please follow the steps below to create your E-card:​

⚠ Important Note​

Before starting, please ensure you are using a device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop) with a working camera, as you will need to take a photo during the process.​

Access the registration link to begin:​
https://alumninetwork.rmit.edu.vn/register/​

Step 1: Verification​

Please enter the following information:​

    • Full Name (in English alphabet)​
    • Student ID​
    • Date of Birth (DD.MM.YYYY)​

If your information cannot be validated, please double-check your details or submit the FAST TRACK FORM for support.​

Step 2: Account Setup​

Enter your personal email address (please do not use your student email).​

* If the system indicates that you already have an account:​

    • Click “Login.”​
    • If you have forgotten your password, click “Forgot your password.”​
    • A verification email will be sent to your registered email address.​

** If you do not receive the verification email:​

    • Check your Junk/Spam folder​
    • Wait for 3 minutes​
    • If you still have not received it, please submit the FAST TRACK FORM​

You can update your employment details and access your E-card anytime in the “My Account” tab.​

Step 3: Employment Information​

Please provide the following details:​

    • Employer​
    • Position​
    • LinkedIn URL​
      (We recommend including your LinkedIn profile so we can better connect you with suitable alumni events and career opportunities. If you do not have one, please type “N/A.”)​
    • Phone Number​

Step 4: E-card Creation​

    • Agree to the Terms & Conditions​
    • Take your photo​

* Please note:​ The photo you upload will be used as your official Alumni E-card photo. It must be valid and clearly show your face.​

** After Successfully Creating Your E-card​

    • A QR Code will appear on the screen — this is your official Alumni E-card.​
      Please take a screenshot and save it to your phone gallery for quick access when entering campus.​
      You can always retrieve your QR Code in the “My Account” tab on the Alumni Network.​
    • An email will be sent to your registered email address containing your Alumni Code.​
      This code is used to access RMIT Alumni Gifts and other exclusive alumni benefits.​

You may create your E-card anytime, but support is not 24/7. Please create your E-card at least 5 working days before visiting campus to allow time for issue resolution. 

5. Important campus access:

Campus access policy

  • The Alumni E-card grants access only to alumni themselves
  • Alumni cannot bring guests onto campus using their E-card 
  • Guests may enter only with an official appointment with RMIT staff 
  • The former physical alumni card is no longer accepted 
  • Please bring your National ID / VNeID / Passport along with your E-card for security checks 

Code of conduct

To ensure a safe and respectful campus environment: 

  • Alumni must follow all RMIT regulations and the RMIT Code of Conduct 
  • Any behavior that violates university rules — including supporting unauthorized individuals to enter campus — may result in access termination for a minimum of one year 
  • The Terms & Conditions outline the types of misconduct and the circumstances under which alumni benefits may be revoked.  

6. RMIT Alumni Office working hours:

Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (Closed on weekends and public holidays) 

For inquiries sent outside office hours, please expect a response on the next working day.
