Mr. Thane Taithongchai – Deputy General Director at Starprint

Starprint is exploring new packaging materials that can fill the shortfall and also cater to growing global demand for sustainable packaging – a topic that Thane is passionate about.

While flexible plastic is still used in Vietnam for cost reasons, international clients expect eco-friendlier alternatives.

Regular packaging is now at the core of Starprint and their customers including Nestlé, Unilever and Colgate

 

 

Ms. Tran Thi Hai – Footprint Program Strategic Advisor at WWF- Viet Nam

Since her training in Agricultural Economics and International Social development in Australia, Hai has been serving the development sector in Viet Nam for almost 20 years.

She has played various roles in both international and local non-Government organizations in Viet Nam and worked on a range of issues, including natural resource management, climate smart agriculture and livelihoods, civil society and community development and organization development.
