Food Drive is a project hosted by RMIT Alumni Vietnam and VietHarvest to tackle food waste and donate dry foods to underserved communities. This event is part of the broader campaign entitled Sạch, Sành, Sanh (Clean, Clever, and Continuity), which aims to promote sustainable development in Vietnam.
Who can donate?
All RMIT staff, students, and alumni can become donors.
When and where to donate?
Come to our booth at the SGS campus, canteen B1 (behind the ATM)
From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM from September 16th to 20th (Week 12)
It’s a big yellow truck, you can’t miss it!
We will receive food brought to our booth in person only, any shipping packages will be reversed to senders.
If you want to bring more than 10kg of food to our booth, please contact the alumni team in advance for logistic arrangements.
Who will receive your donation?
Depending on the amount of donated food, we will distribute it to centers in partnership with VietHarvest, as shown in the list below. The exact centers that receive the food will be announced 2 weeks after the program closes.

What can you donate?
You can donate dry foods in original packages and good conditions such as:
What kind of food shouldn’t be donated?
(*) The food’s expiration date should not be less than 1 month from the day you donated.
You will not want to miss it!
In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, we’ll be delivering 50 lanterns along with food donations to the shelter from September 16th to 17th to support children have a joyful festival. The first 50 food donors who visit our booth on these days will receive a blank lantern and a set of six watercolors if you’d like to decorate one yourself.
To make the Food Drive more fun and interactive for participants, we will giveaway 10 Annam Gourmet vouchers to 10 lucky donors every day from September 16th to 20th. When you donate your food, your information will be put on a list for an online lucky draw at 4:30 PM, winners will be listed below and announced on the RMIT Vietnam Alumni Facebook page
