About the program
The Livebrary is RMIT Alumni Vietnam's annual project proudly feature alumni's inspiring and impactful stories. This year's theme, "We Carry The Fire Forward," showcases stories of family businesses and the people who help carry them forward with pride and responsibility. It recognizes that sustaining a family's legacy is not only about inheritance, but also about renewal and contribution.
We welcome stories about:
- Family business journeys and succession.
- Working alongside parents or relatives.
- Innovation and transformation.
- Leadership and responsibility.
- Lessons learned from challenges and failures.
- The business impact on employees, customers, communities, and Vietnam's future.
Yes. The Livebrary is designed to champion values, responsibility, and impact regardless of a business’s size, industry, or achievements.
Businesses without family governance or direct involvement may not align with the spirit of the project.
Family businesses play an important role in shaping communities and economies. This year's theme honors the founders who lit the first flame and the generations who continue to nurture and renew it.
By sharing your story, you can:
- Thank your parents for their sacrifices while building the first flame
- Recognize employees, partners, and customers who helped keep the business alive
- Embrace your role as the next generation of innovation and sustainability
- Show the impact of the business on the broader communities and Vietnam’s future
Not necessary. We welcome RMIT Alumni from anywhere in the world.
