At OUCRU, she led creative public health projects such as Digital Diaries and the “I'm Vaccinated” campaign to engage with marginalised communities in fostering behavior change and promoting public health in Vietnam. She was honored with a full ride scholarship by Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology where she obtained a Bachelor of Design in Digital Media degree. Since then, she was actively involved in public health and social change projects with various local NGOs such as Mission Alliance Vietnam (NMAV), Smile Group, and AIP Foundation as a graphic design consultant. Recently, Yen was awarded a scholarship to “Train the trainers" course and learned to make a one minute video by The US Embassy in Vietnam. Yen has passionately used this skillset to train other young people and undergraduate doctors to improve their public health and social change project media productions.
