I am Iwaguchi Ryūgo - Anh Huu Quoc Nguyen, a Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City based 2D graphic designer, documentary photographer, calligrapher and Japanologist. Iwaguchi Studio started out as a Calligraphic Workshop (書堂) in 2020 (Reiwa 2), later expanded with Design Department (設計工房) in 2021 Photographic Studio (寫真工房) in 2023. Traced from the ancient Sino-Japanese traditional values, incorporating Constructivist Abstract graphics and 2000s Manga art styles, blending with aspects of spiritual and normal life of both Vietnam and Japan, Iwaguchi Studio brings out a touch and an artistic story of its own.
