RMIT Vietnam Alumni had the privilege of hosting Ms. Le Thi Binh, a distinguished alumna and the Founder and CEO of ASART Deal Advisory, as our keynote speaker at the 2024 RMIT Vietnam’s Graduation Ceremony. Her inspiring speech resonated deeply with our RMIT Vietnam community, conveying a powerful message: YOU ARE NEVER ALONE! As a part of the RMIT family, you have the support of over 7,000 alumni in managerial roles across 18 different industries, all ready to stand by your side. Let’s explore the motivating words she shared and choose the statement that resonates the most.
Freedom and Proving Your Value
Ms. Le Thi Binh emphasized that although you will enjoy freedom as you embark on your own journey, true freedom is not easily attained. The key lies in proving your value to the world. Recognize that your worth is not solely defined by your accomplishments, but also by the positive impact you make. By consistently demonstrating your capabilities, you will unlock the true essence of freedom.
Responsibility for Self and Others
Binh highlighted that as you progress in your personal and professional life, your responsibilities will extend beyond yourself. It is not just about individual achievements, but also about taking ownership and being accountable for the well-being and success of others. Embrace the opportunity to lead, inspire, and uplift those around you, as true growth comes from nurturing a collective sense of responsibility.
Belief in Self and Others
Believing in oneself is crucial, but Binh emphasized that it is equally important to believe in others. Recognize the potential and abilities of your peers and colleagues, and support them in their endeavors. By fostering a culture of trust and collaboration, you create a powerful network of support and shared success. Believe in the collective strength and potential of your community.
Ms. Le Thi Binh’s speech reminded us that as part of the RMIT Vietnam community, we are never alone. With a network of over 7,000 accomplished alumni across diverse industries, we have a collective powerhouse of support at our fingertips. Whether it is proving our value, shouldering responsibilities, or believing in ourselves and others, we have the tools to navigate the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead.

Proud parents, siblings, relatives and most importantly, graduates
Good morning, and congratulations to RMIT Vietnam Class of 2024!
Thank you for giving me this extraordinary honor. I don’t have the exact statistics, but I heard most graduates don’t remember what being said by their keynote speaker. While being flattered with this invitation, it posed a new challenge for me and quickly became my new goal for the last two weeks: each of you will leave this ceremony remembering at least one thing I say. So please listen carefully, there might be a test after.
You see, there is no such thing that if you achieve, you will stop. When you are better, it gets harder. Life is not a destination, but more like a marathon. It is not about being fast, but about finishing. Having the right mindset and stamina are important.
While I congratulate you, I must share with you that the celebration of this degree is only the beginning of a greater path with endless possibilities ahead of you.
If I may point out one thing that is wrong with the world and the workforce today, it would be “talent is overrated” while everything else is underrated. Being talented is great, however what is really shaping our lives is not talent but our choices and our efforts working toward those choices.
Being able to graduate from RMIT Vietnam today, most of you are already talented. Joining any organization, most people there are already talented. What will set you apart from others is your choices, efforts, ownership, ethics, and loyalty.
Last but not least, try to stay alert and not get lost in the “new” world, the “real” world. Each decision you make will gradually draw who you are. Have a set of principles and values where you can always fall back and use it as a guidance for whenever in doubt.
Although this campus is much bigger and a lot different now, it was where I decided to enroll instead of joining a top school in the US for my bachelor’s degree. This was where I honed my very first skills, learned to work under pressure, met great friends, and received multiple employment offers that have made me who I am today.
I cannot express enough my gratitude for the values and the tremendous privileges I have gained and experienced as a student and alumni here. I hope you will be able to extract the best values out of the degree you receive today. By degree I don’t just mean the knowledge and the skills, but also the environment, the resources, the friendships, the ecosystem, and a lot more that RMIT Vietnam has to offer.
If you can only remember one thing from my speech today, know that being part of RMIT Vietnam, you are never alone. There are more than 7000 RMIT Vietnam alumni who are in managerial roles in 18 different industries out there willing to support you.
Many of you still might not realize how important today is. Your graduation is an exemplary exhibition of one very important goal achieved. Continue this momentum!
I envy the tremendous opportunities and endless possibilities that you have in your hands. I wish for you to come out not just being alive but also making us all proud on the other side!
Once again, congratulations to RMIT Vietnam Class of 2024!”
