As part of RMIT University Vietnam’s 25th anniversary celebrations with the support of the Australian Government, The Livebrary – RMIT Alumni Impact Showcase proudly honours the inspiring and meaningful journeys of our alumni, highlighting their work across diverse sectors, industries, and regions.
Over the past 25 years, RMIT Vietnam has cultivated a vibrant alumni network of over 30,000 graduates. From June 2025, The Livebrary online showcase proudly presented over 120 projects from alumni worldwide, from diverse backgrounds and industries – including start-up founders, corporate leaders, social workers, artists – who have shared their impactful journeys.

The Celebration Night captured the essence of this dynamic community by spotlighting 25 inspiring alumni projects that embody the values of Transformation, Empowerment, Creation, Inspiration, and Sustainability. The evening opened with remarks from Ms. Sarah Hooper, Australian Consul-General, who praised the alumni’s role in shaping Vietnam’s future and strengthening Australia-Vietnam ties. “The true legacy of education lives not in the walls of an institution, but in the lives of its people,” she shared. “Your work is the living proof of RMIT’s mission to inspire innovation and create lasting social impact.”

The showcase featured an impressive lineup of alumni exhibitors representing 5 values with a wide spectrum of industries and generations:
The showcase is made for and by our alumni – a journey of co-creating and sharing values and impact. Our project team in Alumni Relations has five out of eight members who are alumni, graduating from 2010 to 2025. Nguyen Vinh Hien and Pham Cong Danh, two merit-based full-scholarship recipient alumni and co-founders of Project Pluto, are the creators behind the creative ideas and vibrant project website.

The unique wooden frame concept that has been used for different RMIT showcases since 2024, designed by VAN•HOA studio
The wooden exhibition frame concept is the result of hard work from our alumna Nguyen Huyen Chau, founder and CEO of VAN•HOA. NK Production, founded and led by alumnus Nguyen Minh Nhut, has made a significant contribution to our event production. Lilou Studio, our fragrance sponsor, has our alumna Buu Ngoc Minh Anh as the partnership manager. We extend our sincere appreciation to all participating alumni who generously shared their inspiring stories. Without the enthusiastic support of the alumni community, this project would never have taken place.
