Postgraduate Social Networking Event 2026: Redefining Value Through Leadership and Connection
On 17 September 2026, RMIT Vietnam’s postgraduate community gathered in Hanoi for the Postgraduate Social Networking Event 2026 — an evening of meaningful conversations, fresh perspectives and renewed connections among MBA, EMBA and MIB alumni and current students.
The event provided an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with fellow graduates, meet current postgraduate students and expand their professional networks, while reflecting on the evolving role of leadership in today’s rapidly changing business environment.

Redefining Value: Leadership is a Decision
A key highlight of the evening was the keynote session by Ms Helena Pham, Managing Partner for Consulus Changemakers and Partnerships and Managing Director of Consulus Vietnam, on “Redefining Value: Leadership is a Decision.”
Against the backdrop of rapid market shifts and growing AI influence, Ms Pham explored how leadership goes beyond position, technology or tools. Instead, leadership is a conscious decision — a choice to lead with purpose, foster unity and create meaningful impact.
The session introduced several key ideas, including:
- Leadership as a Decision: Navigating uncertainty requires intentional, human-centred leadership rather than simply reacting to new tools and trends.
- The 7 EoC Impact Measures: A practical framework for creating positive organisational transformation through co-governance, supply chain synergy and community impact.
- Economic Unity: Moving beyond short-term performance metrics to build more resilient, sustainable and connected business ecosystems.

Following the keynote, alumni and students continued the evening through networking and informal conversations over dinner. The atmosphere reflected the diversity and strength of RMIT’s postgraduate community, with participants sharing experiences, exchanging ideas and discovering opportunities to connect beyond the event.
As the evening came to a close, one message stood out: while technology and markets continue to evolve, meaningful leadership and human connection remain essential to creating lasting value.
