Witnessing the fragility of the Vietnamese aesthetic industry, with unqualified practitioners capitalizing on patients’ health, was heartbreaking. Deceptive marketing led to severe medical complications. Coming from a family with three generations of doctors, I felt a deep sense of responsibility. With our family’s ten years of clinical excellence and a trusted network of top practitioners, I knew we had to act for the health of the community. During my final year at RMIT, I decided to study for a second degree in Pharmacy. After working in the Big Four consulting world and engaging in UNICEF initiatives, I returned to my family business in the healthcare industry. My goal is to provide true medical value for patients, delivering effective, evidence-based care through which Vietnamese skin is treated with genuine scientific integrity.
At 22 years old, I realized I was no longer just an employee working to earn a salary for myself. Suddenly, I was responsible for the livelihoods of our employees, who rely on us to support their own families. Every decision I made carried real weight since it was not only affecting me, but also our employees and their families. Furthermore, I was now responsible for the professional reputation my mother had built over 25 years of medical integrity.
